Clutches and gearboxes on these cars fail in known ways: the Type R and STI clutch under added torque, the Evo active centre differential pump, the GT-R dual clutch gearbox, and CVTs on everyday cars that were never given a fluid change. Every package here says what failure it answers and what it will and will not hold. The GT86 and GR86 share their FA boxer engine and chassis with the Subaru BRZ, which widens the parts supply and keeps prices sensible.

Fitting

Labour guide: about 8 hours. Japanese manufacturers change parts by build date and by market, and grey imports add a second layer to that. Send the VIN or chassis number with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything is dispatched. For imported cars send the chassis plate, because the UK registration will not tell us enough. We are an independent parts specialist for Japanese cars. We do not sell decat pipes, particulate filter deletes, EGR blanks, emulators, or crackle and pop calibrations. They are illegal on a road car in the UK, an MOT failure and they void insurance. Every performance part here keeps the emissions equipment working.
