The 350Z and 370Z are affordable rear drive V6 coupes whose VQ engines are tough, with oil consumption on the early HR and gallery gasket failure on the 370Z to know about.

Labour guide: about 2 hours. Japanese manufacturers change parts by build date and by market, and grey imports add a second layer to that. Send the VIN or chassis number with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything is dispatched. Which version to buy

OEM is the same part made by the factory supplier, in that supplier's box. Identical in practice and usually 25 to 40 per cent cheaper than genuine. Uprated is a stronger or revised specification for cars that are driven hard, tracked or tuned. Genuine is in the manufacturer's own packaging with the manufacturer's number on it. Worth it for warranty work and a car with full dealer history.
