Labour guide: about 2 hours. Japanese manufacturers change parts by build date and by market, and grey imports add a second layer to that. Send the VIN or chassis number with the order and we confirm the part against the build data before anything is dispatched. For imported cars send the chassis plate, because the UK registration will not tell us enough. We are an independent parts specialist for Japanese cars. We are not Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru or Mitsubishi and are not appointed by any of them; the names are their trademarks and are used here to describe fitment. We stock genuine, OEM and quality aftermarket side by side and every listing says which is which, because the price difference is real and so, sometimes, is the quality difference.

Which version to buy

OEM is the same part made by the factory supplier, in that supplier's box. Identical in practice and usually 25 to 40 per cent cheaper than genuine. Uprated is a stronger or revised specification for cars that are driven hard, tracked or tuned. Genuine is in the manufacturer's own packaging with the manufacturer's number on it. Worth it for warranty work and a car with full dealer history.
